48" Walking Stick - Carved and Stained

This was a charity challenge for the Crossville, TN woodturners club.  We were given a 5 ft wood dowel rod about 2.5" diameter.  Make a walking stick and it will be sold for a fund raiser to a local charity.   So this was my attempt to make one.  Wood ( unknown) was very soft and light weight.
