Maple Bowl w/rim inlay

This 11” bowl of what I call splotchy maple had enough pink in places that I thought I would put some “pink ivory” pen blank shavings in the rim along with a touch of “Mother of Pearl”.  I have done some stepped down inside rims on other bowls and like the look.  Added some texture with the Wagner tool also.
